Dalia Alezra, Esq.

ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

At an early age, I knew that I wanted to choose a profession where I can truly help people. When I entered the Elder Law profession, I realized that I can use the law to help individuals and their families get access to critical public benefits they deserve, or to reinstate benefits that were erroneously discontinued. The world of public benefits is often complex and difficult to navigate and I saw early on how easy it was for vulnerable individuals to get overlooked or ignored by the very system that was created to help them.

About Ms. Alezra

Dalia is driven by a deep-seated passion for social justice. She found her calling as a changemaker for the most vulnerable members of society who are, often, seniors and those with disabilities.

Throughout her education and career, she has witnessed firsthand the injustices faced by vulnerable populations. Sadly, even when legislation is in place to protect the rights of these individuals, the system falls short of safeguarding what the constitution intends to preserve. It is precisely this systemic failure that Dalia is resolved to change.

Her legal background is impressive. She developed a sophisticated understanding of the rights of individuals through work at the Maryland General Assembly. Here, she delved into the intricacies of state laws and their downstream impact. Her legal studies focused on public interest and constitutional law, solidifying her commitment to protecting the defenseless. She graduated in 2021 from the University of Baltimore School of Law, joined our firm just months later, and is quickly becoming an expert leader in her field.

At Stavely & Sallitto, Dalia doesn't just represent clients, she empowers them.  Whether it's navigating the complexities of public benefits or ensuring proper guardianship practices, she fights tirelessly for their well-being.  A recent case exemplifies her dedication – securing vital benefits for a client left in the dark by a bureaucratic maze.

Dalia's ambitions extend far beyond individual cases.  She envisions a future working within the public interest sphere, potentially even at a government level.  Her ultimate goal is to reform a system that often fails the very people it's meant to serve.  She sees the bigger picture and is determined to create lasting change.

Dalia is a passionate advocate, a skilled attorney, and a champion for those who need it most.  If you're looking for someone to fight for your rights and navigate the complexities of guardianship, asset protection, and receiving care at home, you've found the right place.
